Kids cards

When I was at the beauty parlour the other week, my therapist was saying she has 13 nieces and nephews and was always looking for kids cards so I told her I'd make some.  Over the long weekend I got a few done...

This one used some MFT Snuggle Bunnies and WPlus9 balloons.

The next two were inspired by Pinterest.  Used punched circles for my caterpillar and die cut circles for my birds.

Next is another MFT bunnies and the WPlus9 balloon

And my  final card uses MFT dragons

I enjoyed making these cards and if she likes them, I do her some more.

Thanks for stopping by.

Har Repotter Graduation card

One of my work colleagues wanted a Harry Potter grad card for her daughter whose graduation was last week.... so thanks to the Har Repotter images from Bugaboo.... I made her a box card.

I had fun making this and she told me today her daughter loved it.

Hope you all had a great weekend... I got LOTS of colouring done for my Kit and Clowder classes.  We took Friday off and headed up to Mangawhai.  Had a really relaxing weekend, which did included a trip to the Markets, a winery visit (tasting and buying a nice bottle of Sauvigion Blanc) and a trip to the Waipu Museum.  I always enjoy visiting this museum as it tells the story of the Scottish settlers who came to Waipu via Nova Scotia.

thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate all your visits.  Please feel free to leave me a message.

Archie is 2

Yesterday, 20th April,  was my little grandson Archie's second birthday.... With the blink of an eye.... he is two .... but if you ask him he tells you he is six!  Or at least that's what he told us when we spoke with him!  It only seems like yesterday he was born.  His Mummy and Daddy take him to the zoo regularly and that's where they went yesterday.    So of course Nanny had to make him a zoo card for his birthday.

I found a DCWV Safari Paper pack in my stash and the perfect paper for the box card.  I stamped the animals and used my scanner to flip and print so I got matching pairs..  My Scan'N'Cut came in handy to cut them all out.

His Mummy made him a train cake with zoo animal candles....with some help from Archie.....

Can't wait till I get to give him a big hug in July when we are visiting on our way to Ireland.

Missing in Action.....

I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I posted..... time has gotten away on me.  I have started an exercise routine that involves walking for a minimum of 50 mintues a day which I do after work.  Then I'm exhausted and haven't even done more than a couple of cards in that time..

This one was  a commission for a friend of a friend for her 80 year old mother.

Then the last weekend I didn't get any card making done as Hubby and I went off on our Mystery Weekend.   We went to Nelson.  It is near the top of the South Island

Here are some photos of the amazing scenery.    We did a drive from Nelson to Blenheim via Picton, along the Queen Charlotte Sound drive.

Once we got to Blenheim we visited three vineyards for tastings.  Here a pic from Hunter's -

On Sunday, we walked up to the Centre of NZ -  a 30 min walk all up hill.... I huffed and puffed my way up finally getting there.  Amazing views from the top

 Incredible views.
We ended up having lunch at a Brewery in Stoke and a swim at Tahuna Beach before flying home on the 4.15 flight.

So a very fun and relaxing weekend away.

Now to get the mojo flowing and get some cards made.   I've got DT work to do, and some class work for my Altenew Accreditation.
