I used Tim Holtz Stars stencil and like Kristina, used Derwent Inktense pencils to colour in the stars. I also used a tiny star from a stencil from TCW. I added some Wink of Stella glitter to the stars. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp!
I did try some watercolouring through a stencil but didn't quite have the right consistency and it bleed underneath. Might be able to selvage some of it, or it might just get made into flowers or butterflies.
I also made a start on some cards with techniques from from Day 3. Again some more successful than others! More on that later.
And here is another way you can use your stencils
I made this sponge to take around to our friends for dinner this evening and laid my stencil on top and sprinkled with icing sugar. I had filled it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was sooooo yummy. (Diet out of the window tonight)
Back to work tomorrow.... after a three day weekend. I've enjoyed have the extra day off. Next week we have another one off... Thursday 6th. So two short weeks.

You go, girl! That cake looks extra yummy with the powdered sugar on top. Oh, and the card is very nice, too.
I love how you can see the pencil marks on your card, Dawn - gives a nice texture! And that cake - YUMM!
Your stars turned out perfect with this technique, Dawn! And your sponge cake looks delicious - fun idea!
Oh wow--wish I was going to have dinner with you guys--LOL! You're inspiring me to work with my stencils--fun card!
your card is great and the dessert looks so yummy and lovely with the stenciled top!
Wonderful reproduction of the class card. Your cake sounds yummy! Enjoy your short weeks.
What a great way to use a stencil - we so often think only of 'wet' mediums when it comes to stencils.
Penny Black blog had a video tutorial on using water colours with a stencil/stamps. May have some pointers for you.
Love the way you have used it on the sponge top!!
Blessings
