Today's card came about with me playing around with fabric. I needed to make a card using fabric for my upcoming challenge over at
Die Cut Diva's... ( an early notification for any of you who play with us over there). I had some cotton type fabric that I picked up at Spotlight and I used a Spellbinders die to cut out some of the flowers in the Carnation die set.... I went to spray them with some gold Pearlised water.... but they picked up the Purple dye on the base of my spray box and went a pretty lilac colour....
So decided to use Hero Arts sketch (loosely)
And as I made my own embellishment, it's a double whammy for Hero Arts Challenge.
The background was stamped with HA Chevron stamp and Milled Lavender distress inks. I used Spellbiners circles and a Die-Namics label for the sentiment banner. The sentiment is also from a Hero Arts set.
I am also entering this into the Anything Floral/Handmade Flowers challenge over at
Fashionable Stamping Challenges
I've been busy working on some of my cards for upcoming challenges over at
Red Carpet Studio. Opening Premiere weekend starts 31 August, so do come over and join us. The first challenge starts 2 Sept.
Hope you all had a great weekend... I've had a great time getting inky. Only 4 days of work then my holiday starts!!!!! yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
