Merry Christmas my friends.... It's Christmas Day and it's my turn to share my card for Die Cut Divas. Our sponsor this month is
I have used Christmas Owls to make a Winter card.
I printed the image onto some Mi Tentes paper and used my Prismacolor pencils to colour. I die cut with a Spellbinders oval die and layered onto a Scallop die cut. The white panel is embossed with a plaid folder. I didn't add any sentiment at this point... will put something inside.
Hoping you all have a great Holiday Season and Blessing to you all.

Monochromatic over at CCC Digi Creations
It's the middle of the month, so it time for another challenge over at CCC Digi Creations
Our sponsor this fortnight is Kathryne

I chose to use one of her little owls for my card. And used browns for monochromatic colour.
I used a wood embossing folder for my dark brown background, some kraft for my background scallop oval. The branch is part of a Memory Box die. The sentiment is a bonus when you purchase this owl.
Would love to have you play along with us at CCC Digi Creations with our monochromatic challenge.

Owl Get Well @ Mygrafico
Another new challenge starts over at Mygrafico this week... Anything Goes again. Last challenge there were 193 entries... so there were two random prizes...
This week I chose a gorgeous owl set from Cupcake Cutiees
This set is already coloured so I used my Publisher to build up the page. I did a bit of a play on words for my sentiment. I printed it out and layered onto my card base and added lots of stickles to the body. I added some Glossy Accents to the eyes and feet.
The very sweet owl toy in my photo was made for me by my niece Vicky. Isn't it sweet.
So do pop over to the blog and see what the other's have come up with, and join us in our challenge.
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate all my followers.

You Hoo... Birthday Owls
At Stamp Group on Saturday our make and take was the three owls - They were cut with a new die by EZ Cut. We cut three owls out of 3 different card, pulled them apart and mixed up the colours to put them back together, We also cut the branch with another EZ Cut die. I put mine on a piece of pp that had been spritzed with Walnut stain ink solution. It was my first time using the spray bottle and I got a few splotches... but that made it look cool. I layered it on black and then olive card stock on a white base. My little owls were pop dotted for dimension. I then stamped the words "you hoo" in top and bottom corners
I really like these dies by EZ Cut - so ordered some... two different borders - and one that embosses and cuts a square out of the top part of the card. Really different. I picked them up today. So lookout for some embossed cards coming up. Just to find some time to do some crafting.... maybe Saturday as I'm off for my fourth Saturday in a row - stamping.... going to a Stampin' Up! demo and stamping at Sandie's place....
