Merry & Bright - at Die Cut Divas.

It's my turn to share at Die Cut Divas for this month's challenge.   Our theme is "Critters" and we have been sponsored by Sheepski Designs.

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card using Sheepski Designs - My Spy

I started by printing the digital stamp and then used a Pinkfresh Essential Mini Slimline die to cut the panel.  This gave the stitched lines top and bottom.  I used a variety of different alcohol marker to add the colour.  Some Altenew Red Cosmos enamel dots give the reindeer noses their colour.  Added Stardust Stickles to the hat.    I used some paper from a Carte Bella Letters to Santa pack for my background and added a little Hot Foiled sentiment for Spellbinders - Yana's Christmas Sentiments.  My card base is a 5" square.

Do come and visit our challenge and join us with your critter projects.... just remember you must use your die cut machine.

Wrapped up for Christmas.

Another card for Christmas Kickstart Challenge.  This month's challenge is "Wrapped up for Christmas"- use a scarf or scarves on your card.

This one uses a pre-coloured Lily of the Valley digital image.  I've added texture by using colouring pencils before die cutting with a Spellbinder circle die.  My background was made by smooshing some Distress Oxide on to a gel plate and spritzing with water.  I then dipped my card onto the card.  I used some Nuvo Glimmer paste and a Montarga snow flake stencil.  Hard to photograph but looks stunning in real life.   Used a foiled sentiment from Spellbinders to finish.

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas wreath - using non-Christmas stamps

Hi there.   I'm sharing a card I made using a Pinkfresh hot foil plate and stencil, that I made into a Christmas card by using red inks.   And of course, a Spellbinders hot foiled sentiment.

I used Altenew inks to add the rich red colours and lovely green leaves.  And the hot foiled sentiment was the reverse foiling from some red on white foiling.   A few bronze Nuvo drops finished the card.

I can't believe it's the last day of November.   Only 23 days till our NZ family head over to Perth to spend time with our Aussie family!   Some very excited people on both sides of the Ditch who can't wait.

Three of a Kind at Sweet Stampin' Challenge.

It's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' Challenge and our theme is Three of a Kind.

Recently I've been using my Distress Inks a bit more... For this card I did some torn edge masking and then using a Rainbow of Distress inks.  My panel is Bristol Smooth card and boy does that make the blending so so easy.  I was totally thrilled with the results.   For my three of a kind I went with foiled butterflies.  I used a Spellbinders Hot Foil stamps/dies - Glimmer Edge Butterflies.  I used some Mini Rainbow Stripe foil.  I foiled two onto white card and then used one of the negative pieces and a little left over piece of foil and added to black card and foiled. Die cut all the butterflies and also the bodies from the plain foiled card.  Another three of the a kind... I added three colourful gems to each of the butterflies.   I matted the panel onto some teal card and then onto the white base.

Floral Occasion - Take 2 at the Flower Challenge.

Today I made another card for the latest challenge at The Flower Challenge.

Today I was working from home.... and took a bit of a longer lunch break to have a play.  The call of the craft room is hard to deny...  It was a quick card as I had a pre-foiled panel.  I had made a few panels when I first got my Go Press and Foil machine.

The sentiment is a Hot Foil stamp from Spellbinders.  The floral stamp is by Woodware.  I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossed it.  I took some Altenew inks and blenders and added colour to the flowers and leaves.. I added some little Pretty Pink Posh gold baubles.   It's hard to get a good photo of the foil...

Back into the office tomorrow... and will find out if we are going to a two team work roster... one week home and one week in the office - with no contact between the two teams.  This means if someone gets COVID or is a close contact, only half of our area will need to isolate.

Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate your visit.  Please leave me a comment so I know you've been here.
