Valentine wreath.

It's the last day of the month, so time to share my card for Die Cut Divas.   Our theme is month is Valentines... and we have an awesome new sponsor, none other than Lawn Fawn!

I have used Lawn Fawn's Candy Heart's die together with an Altenew wreath stamp and die set.

I added a little love die cut sentiment to finish it off.   Love the soft pink and blues together.

Thanks for visiting.

Be my Valentine

Hi there, it's my day to share a card for the January challenge at Die Cut Divas,

We have an awesome new sponsor, none other than Lawn Fawn!

The challenge is Valentines - make a project for Valentine's Day

And the prize - Lawn Fawn is providing a $25 gift card.

I picked up a cute Lawn Fawn die set just before Christmas.   So here's what I did

The die set "Candy Hearts" is super cute.   I die cut the sentiment dies in different tones and shades of purple.  I die cut the plain layer with white card and the the IOU from red so I could layer in the red heart.  I found some pretty patterned paper and used another shade of purple for the lower part of the card.   I used a sentiment from a Clearly Besotted stamp set.  I decided it needed a little something more so die cut a Spellbinder's edge die and added some gems along the top.

We would love to have you join us at Die Cut Divas.

Lacy Hearts for Valentines.

Yes I've made a Valentine's Day card to share today.  Our challenge this month at Die Cut Divas is "Holidays".  Our sponsor is Le Crystelle. - using some of their stunning prefolded and cut cards.

I chose to use a heart shaped step card in pink to make my Valentine's card

My card was a very pretty pink, that really doesn't show on the photo.  I used a Spellbinders Heart Die cut with red card.  The Love sentiment is a Winnie & Walter die with the co-ordinating stamp.
Although my idea is perfect for Valentine's Day, it would be great as an Anniversary card too.

Hop over to the Die Cut Divas blog and you can see Arlene's lovely heart card too!

Edited: Entering into the Holiday challenge at Addicted to Stamping (thanks Barb for the heads up!)

Rainbows

There's nothing prettier than a rainbow... and over at City Crafter Challenge Blog the challenge was "Colors of the Rainbow".  I decided on a design around about 50 mins before the challenge finished this afternoon... and in 15 mins I had my card made~

Rainbow butterflies

I started with Hero Arts Zig Zag background and inked it up with some Colorbox Rainbow ink (given to me by someone who had it for years) I stamped it onto my base card.  I then stamped the sentiment.  Now it was to be an upright, side opening card, but mucked up the placement of the sentiment, so turned it on it's side for a top opening card... actually gives a nice look with the zig zags going sideways.   I stamped three butterflies in the Rainbow ink and cut out.  Added to the card with some silver gems.   Over all I was really pleased with

I am also entering it onto Jay Gee's Nook monthly challenge as the inspirational photo gave me the design idea a few days ago.  Love all the bright colours.

Had a nice surprise in my letter box today... a beautiful Valentine from Greta

Purple Valentine

Isn't is gorgeous.  Thanks a heap Greta.  Here in NZ, Valentine's is not a big celebrations... mainly just couples ~ giving Roses and chocolates...so with Hubby in another country, I didn't think I'd get a Valentine's card.   Wasn't I lucky.  Hope you have a good Valentine's Day.
