Hi there. Back again for my Southern Girls challenge. It's coming into Autumn/Fall here in NZ and that's our theme this time around. Our sponsors are
I'm using an image from Lacy Sunshine called "Bubbles Autumn,
I printed out the image after using Word to resize and add a frame around it. I used my Prismacolour pencils to add colour. I made my own background paper by using a Catherine Pooler stencil (Marching Leaves) over a pale green card. I used Rocky Shore and Olive inks from Altenew. I cut a heart doily in half to put behind the focal image. I then stamped and clear embossed the Autumn sentiment from "The Big Bold Seasons" from Winnie & Walter onto some vellum and fussy cut around it.
Do come and join us at Southern Girls Challenge with your Autumn/Fall creations

Pop it Up!
OMG - I almost forgot that I had a Design Team card due this morning! So a very quick trip to the craft room and a card made it up on to the Southern Girls Challenge in time. Our theme is Pop it Up.....

I used a cute image from Lacy Sunshine called Emily - Snow Princess.
I used a MFT oval die cut from sparkle foam and used some 3M mounting tape to add it to the card. I added the tape to the main image as well. I added some flowers I made with a Heartfelt Creations stamp and cut out with my Scan'N'Cut, then molded using the Heartfelt Creations Basic Flower Mold (available from Artfull Crafts)
I'm looking forward to the weekend, as my Dad is arriving to stay with us for the next two months.... it will be great to have him here. Maybe I'll be able to persuade him to come and live here... who knows!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are getting your craft on this week.

Spots and Dots at Southern Girls Challenge
Hi. Back to share my card for the latest challenge at Southern Girls Challenge.
It's Spots and Dots this time with wonderful sponsor's Lacy Sunshine and Krafter's Cart.
I got to use the super sweet Lizabeth's Daffodil today.
I cut out my oval and then embossed the panel with a spots and dots folder. I backed the oval with some Teresa Collins patterned paper that is gold dots. Lizabeth is coloured with Copics. I die cut the hello (Winnie and Walter die) 5 times and layered together for dimension. A few white dots on the daffodil centre, a ribbon and some flowers and it's all done.
Do come and join us at Southern Girls Challenge.

I got to choose an image from Lacy Sunshine and chose to use Selene Moonbeam Goodess.
I printed out the image and coloured with Copics, and trimmed out. My matting was made by colouring some white card with blue Copics. I used my Tim Holtz ruler to add the dots around the edge. Added a few blue sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish the panel. My card background was embossed using a stencil and versamark with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The stencil and the sentiment stamp came with a magazine I got last month.
Thanks for stopping by and we'd love to have you join us at Southern Girls Challenge with your project that include STARS!

I was lucky to get to work with an image from Lacy Sunshine called Curly Sue Victorian Christmas
Shabby Chic is a genre I find difficult but was really pleased with the results I got with this one. I found some pretty PP and a chipboard frame to show off my girl. I made the poinsettia with a couple of punches and some gems. Added some dark green die cut leaves and a Spellbinders fancy label.
Do come and join us with your Girly or Shabby Chic cards for the challenge. It's on for three weeks, so plenty of time to have a play.

Shimmer and Shine
Today is the start of the latest challenge at Southern Girls Challenge blog. Our theme is Sparkle and Shine ~ with a bit of bling.
One of our sponsors this month is Lacy Sunshine and I got to work with an amazing image from her shop.
This one is called Lizabeth Key to my Heart. I printed her and then coloured with Copics. I cut her out with a Spellbinders label which I distressed around the edges with Walnut Stain ink. I then mounted this on some very shimmery and sparkly PP. I made my flowers with a punch and a gold brad. Then I finished with some green die cut flourishes, a black twine bow and a little hand made key.

I made it by die cutting a key out of some Shrinky Dink, colouring with a grey Copic before heating it. Really pleased with the result... and look at the sparkle and shine on the background card.
We would love to have you join us.
I'm entering this into the "Anything Goes" challenge at Lacy Sunshine
