Last day of the year - where has 2018 gone?
This month over at Die Cut Divas we have been celebrating Winter /Winter Holidays with
I've finished the year with a New Year's card - with a winter theme
I
love these little winter Polar Bears from Di's Digi... so sweet. I
started by adding the image to my into a Word document and removed the
background. I then added a precoloured background (a free download from a
magazine) and cropped it to fit behind my bears. I printed this onto
some Bristol paper. I used Zig Clean Clear markers to colour up the
image, using Di's image as inspiration. Then it was die cut with a
Lil'Inkers die. The sentiment is from a Stamp and Die set I recently
purchased. A bit of stamp surgery was required to get it to fit on my
card. I finished with some Gel pen dots for snow.
Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Merry Christmas my friends.... It's Christmas Day and it's my turn to share my card for Die Cut Divas. Our sponsor this month is
I have used Christmas Owls to make a Winter card.
I printed the image onto some Mi Tentes paper and used my Prismacolor pencils to colour. I die cut with a Spellbinders oval die and layered onto a Scallop die cut. The white panel is embossed with a plaid folder. I didn't add any sentiment at this point... will put something inside.
Hoping you all have a great Holiday Season and Blessing to you all.

You're a Gem
Over at StampNation I took part in a Sursee Swap. (Sursee means small unexpected gift)
Our theme was You're a Gem - use bling on your card.
My card went to Tracey in Australia.
For my bling I used some Gold Glitter paste through a stencil.. I use a Catherine Pooler Grateful Heart stamp for my flower. I gold embossed the sentiment on black card. Added some pretty gems to finish my card.
Wishing you all, the best wishes for Christmas... I'll be back tomorrow with a Christmas card.

WWC201 - Marsha's Special Two-Week Year End "Anything Goes"
the
Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. Marsha is our hostess this challenge with a Special Two Week Year End "Anything Goes"
I started by stamping my cityscape along the bottom third of the card. The stamp is from Craft Creations and is the Auckland skyline. I did have to stamp it twice to fit along. I then used a variety of Altenew inks (Desert Night, Sapphire, Starlight and Jet black) to sponge my night sky. I used some Distress Oxide ink ( Broken China and Evergreen Bough) to make the sea. I used a Hero Arts stamp set (Happy New Year Stamp and Cut) to emboss the sentiment (Altenew Rose Gold powder) and the fireworks was embossed with Stampendous Aged Scarlet embossing enamel. I finished with some stars using a white gel pen.

WWC#200 - Helen's All About Occasions Challenge.
Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. Helen is our hostess this week with an All About Occasions Challenge
I decided that I need to have a few sympathy cards on hand. I'm often asked to make them for people at work.
I started with a piece of Strathmore Bristol paper and using Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp one of the flowers from Altenew's Engraved Flowers st. I used a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to use Altenew inks (Wisteria, Hydrangea, Ultraviolet for the flower and Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen for the leaves). The sparkle in real life is incredible. I added some splatters of black and purple inks. The sentiment is from another Altenew set - Fresh Freesia. I had some shiny purple washi that I added along the bottom of the card.
Come join in the fun with any type of occasion card. Check out the projects that the artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created then take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us. You have until Mondays at 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (Tuesday 1pm NZ time) to link up your project.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.
